Paul Walker’s collection of BMW M3 Lightweights has gone under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona bringing in a staggering $1.3 million. Paul Walker rose to fame as Brian O’Connor in the Fast & Furious franchise. During the filming of the seventh entry in the popular series Walker was in a fatal car crash driving a modified Porsche Carrera GT. Several cars from Walkers collection were offered at the auction.

The stars of the former star’s collection where five BMW M3 Lightweight editions, special homologation models meant to qualify specially race prepped M3s for various racing series. The most expensive of the five grabbed $385,000 with only 4600 miles on the clock. The lowest of the quintet commanded $220,000 for a pair.

The Lightweight specials were not the only M3s in the collection that went for sale. There were also a pair of E30 models on offer, with another low mile example grabbing $220,000 while the other fetched $165,000. The E30 was the first edition of the M3 and is recognizable for it’s outlandish box flares and square spoiler.

BMWs weren’t the only cars from the collection that went to auction. There were also some Nissans including a 370Z that appeared in Fast 5 and a 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S race car. There was also a trio of motorcycles that were part of the auction including a Harley Davidson and of course a BMW.
